Re: ADAPS website home page photos

It's great to see the photos on the website changing from time to time and we have yet another great new set now appearing. As Paul says - keep 'em coming. It's lovely to see members work. (Even got one of mine on!!!)

Re: Thurs 19th - Gentlemens' Evening

Call me dumb (if you must) but I have only just worked out what AV is Duuh! :oops: Sorry to have missed the Gentlemen's evening - sounds as if it has been very interesting, exciting and stimulating with people chomping at the bit to get involved and have a go. Really getting withdrawal symptoms so t...

Re: Competition #80 - Favourite Photo of 2011

This is my favourite photo as it was the first one I took in 2011 with my new camera, resulting in my choosing to take up photography as a hobby for my retirement. It also reminds me of Gerry who has been lionhearted throughout his dreadful illness this year.

Re: Re-edits of older photos

Camera RAW workshop

Just had a most enlightening and enjoyable session on Camera RAW. You use these sliders and see your photos change but do not really know what is happening and why. Well - now we do. Many thanks for the benefit of your extensive knowledge and for your time Tom. Much appreciated as always :-}}

Sanctuary Knocker - Durham Cathedral. In medieval times, persecuted individuals who required a place of refuge could bang on the knocker and would be given sanctuary in the Cathedral for 37 days.
