Re: Christmas Wants List

A 16-35mm f2.8l or 85mm f.28l lens would go down well as would a 580 ex2 flashgun

Re: Lightroom 3 beta available

very impressed with the beta so far Whilst testing v 1 and v2 i used beta's the whole time without major incident. as v3 does not upgrade your existing lightroom library its safe to use, as it installs as a separate entity, i particularly like the new import functions, grain and noise reduction enha...

Used models are around £750+ and are more than capable for the work you wish to do. As I found out on saturday, you can have the best camera in the world, but if you use a...

Re: Clubroom Improvements

Could we possibly have outdoor lighting installed at the side of the club room, as during the winter months the alleyway is virtually pitch black. Lights could be controlled via a timer. i agree with Theo's suggestion about the heating and also bert's and paul's suggestions re the backdrops and stud...

Re: Competition #43 - 'PRIDE'

Thanks everyone for entering, such a broad spectrum of images to choose from. Tracey - Good catch lights in the eyes a stunning image beautifully shot, doing something out of the ordinary and left of the middle so to speak takes tremendous strengthened courage, perhaps something that i could not do....

Competition #43 - 'PRIDE'

For the next competition I have aptly chosen PRIDE (as I have just recovered from a weekend of excess!!).

I'm thinking Pride in the context of our heritage, your heritage or something you was once proud of... it's a broad brief so get creative!!

The closing date will be 2 weeks from today on 15th.
