The Old and the New - by which I mean the juxtaposition of two subjects in the same frame - one old and one new. Could be people, articles, buildings or whatever fills the brief. The closing date will be midnight of 6th November, a full three weeks. Many thanks ...

Re: Competition #46 - The Old and the New
Apologies for the delay in posting.
Bazzasmeg - Good and well lit record shot of two very common everyday items.
John - Well lit scene with good contrast in materials and construction, although I generally like buildings upright [call me old fashioned].
Mark - Like the monochrome and the flow of lines from the old to the new, although there appears to be some loss of detail in the shadow areas.
Tom - Like the contrast in the lines of the old and the new, although cropping seems a little tight on the sides.
Pammie - Nice recession in the image through to the wheel. Distracted by what seems to be a colour cast?
Thanks to all in submitting -
3rd = Bazzasmeg/ Pammie
2nd = John/ Mark
1st - Tom
Over to you Tom for the next theme
Regards
Walter
