Hi folks,
Thanks for posting your images, a good selection and a difficult job to select a winner.
Steve,
Your usual top quality mono and the image captured the theme.
Des,
Another of your superb lakeland images.
Myra,
Another top class image, the house is nicely positioned and the tree on the right is a good stopper and is well balanced by the copper
coloured tree reflected in the water.
John,
When I visited the Valley of the kings Imissed seeing this, but the camera never lies  a strong image with deep blue sky.
Len,
Boats always make for good reflections, and must have been difficult to take at night.
Sue,
A super idea something completely differant well taken.
Mike,
A striking image taken in poor lighting conditions.
Paul,
A cheeky image, the water bottle is a bit to prominent on the left and obstructs the reflected image.
Andy,
Another good idea, well seen and well taken but for me the border is abit overpowering.
Terry,
A first class mono image good contrast and a very eye catching image.
Tracey,
Well done, a very difficult image to take, I took a few myself last night so know the problems involved, you must have posted it
straight out of the camera to post it in time for the closing date, for me it has a to much of a warm cast . I have put a similair image
taken last night in Photoshop and found that going into image-colour balance red 0 +33 green +59 blue midtones and tick preserve
luminosity play with these and see if you like the difference it makes.
Barry,
Good image, well seen and well taken, for me a crop off the top to just above the mast would improve it.

Now the difficult bit. :?? :?? :??

3rd Sue,
A differant idea on the theme.
2nd Tracey,
Not an easy image to take, well done almost came top.
1st Terry,
A very striking and eye catching image. well done.

Thanks again to everyone for taking part , I found it hard to single any image out against another, they are all good quality images and
shows the standard of photography of the ADAPS members.
Regards Bert.

Thanks for the thoughful assessment Bert. It's never an easy task with so much good work being done.

Congratulations to our three worthy winners and now it's over to Terry to pose our next challenge.

Now Bert, didn't you see all that water in the Valley of the Kings?
Best regards

Thank you Bert for selecting my entry - I'm glad that you liked it.

All the entries were good examples for the subject of 'Reflections'.

I'm just musing which subject to pick for Competition #11.

Will post it soonest.
