Make sure the images is no larger than 800 pixels on the longest size and that it is a JPEG file.
If it's still a problem, if you e-mail me the image I'll take a closer look at it for you and see if I can spot the problem. If you want to do this I'll PM the e-mail address to use - just let me know.

Anglesarke Moor
The trick to posting images it to make the image a preferred size for photobucket. E.G. this one is 640 by 480 pixels. This means you probably have to choose between cropping the photo to the preferred size or adding a border and making the combined image the preferred size. N.B. in photoshop, you can preset the crop size in the options bar at the top (after selecting the crop tool).
Note: Before starting this, zoom out to give yourself some grey space around the image - press Alt & Spacebar & click.
1st, set the background colour,
2nd, select crop tool,
3rd, enter picture size (in options bar) e.g. 640px - 480px.
4th, drag out a box (it will limit you to the edge of the image but we fix that next).
5th, Click & Drag the corner handles to drag the corners out to extend beyond the edge of the image to give yourself a border.- The image size will still be constrained in the same aspect ratio.
6th, hit the enter key to make the crop and save the image as a jpeg (the border will be the background colour). Voila !
Re: Competition # 22 Autumn Colours
Myra : Lovely colour and very well cropped.
John; A good array of colour, may have benefited by a tighter crop of the back ground.
Pammie; Well balanced & good choice of colour.
Sue; A great shot with plenty of autumn colour.
Paul; Well composed and just the right amount of light & shadow. The water mark is distracting though
Ruth; Well captured and in perfect focus, I like the blurred out background .
Des, A perfect autumn scene, just the right amount of light & shadow.
Cookie; A different approach to autumn scenes. Perfect focus on the web and the background not too distracting.
Len; The stripped field looks like it has been rolled out in front of your eyes.
Terry; Well taken close up of an autumn woodland, I like the collection of colour
Bernie; The burnt out section of sky distracts from the otherwise perfect shot,
The taking and showing photos is the easy bit, judging them is hard !
My selection of these great shots in reverse order is....
Joint 3rd Bernie & Myra, love the colours
Second place, Sue. A perfect canopy of colour
First place, Des, This is the perfect autumn scene.
Best regards, Barry
