CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE?

Post by mikeaspinall »

Hi everybody.

I have a Nikon D7000 and a (non Nikon) battery pack which seems to have developed a fault. Using the grip the
camera focuses, changes both aperture and shutter speed as required but the shutter doesn't trip. When I was given
it that was the existing situation which I got over by changing the type of battery needed in the camera's 'menu'. Now it's
happening again.
Has anybody got a D7000 grip that I could try on my camera to see if, as I suspect, mine isn't working or if not has anyone
got a D7000 that I could try my grip on please?

Thank you.

Hi again

After three cleans of contacts, re-registering the battery details in the camera AND a final shake of
the battery pack it is now working again.
Many thanks for your offer Janice. If you would like I will bring the thing on Thursday for you to have a
go on your camera but if not please save yourself the effort and once again many thanks.

Michael
