WANTED - A LIGHT METER

Post by mikeaspinall »

Hi Folks

My eldest son Mark (the clever one) has ben dabbling in the camera world recently and has today
purchased a Mamiya 645 camera with prism so is now looking for a light meter (Weston would be
fantastic). If any of you film enthusiasts have a spare one for sale ( at a reasonable price of course) I
would be obliged if you could let me know please - of course it doesn't need to be a Weston.

They usually get brought in by Alan at Auction Time ... and then he takes them home again
Surprised not see them again this year!

Hi Alan

Having watched the footie last night I didn't get to read your message until this morning. Will contact Mark to see where
we are with his search and will call you at home later today if that's O.K.
Cheers
Michael
P.S. I knew it was an invercone too.

If you don't manage to get one Mike, Gwen's dad has a load of good quality film stuff, and I'm sure he'll have a light meter. I'll ask him just in case.

Thanks Mel

At the moment he has managed to get a (very) cheap Vivitar meter to play with but if this proves to be
a bit of a waste will certainly be taking up with Alan and if not with you. Thanks for the interest.
