This week it's the Annual Digital Competition. There will be quite a number of images to get through, so the start time for one week only will be 7.30pm

There will be a panel of three judges using the voting machines, so we should get through the evening quite efficiently.

If anyone still has a trophy from last year please make sure you return it to Keith ASAP.

Well I think we should thank Debra Cain, Mike Hudson and Martin Snelson from Evolve group for coming along and being our judging panel. They efficiently and fairly dealt with nearly 300 entries and the whole evening was a slick and a really slick evening could be.

Congratulations to all our winners, and a special mention for Dean Padley's best image in the competition, a picture of our very own member Neville. I didn't see Dean had sneaked in late, but Neville took a bow anyway as the subject.

It was genuinely nice to see that both best overall images were not fancy landscapes, complex creative images or standard model studio portraits, but actual real people were both photographers managed capture their genuine emotion and character.
