In The Pink
Compact cameras do have a real advantage when shooting close up images. They can deliver super shots where with a DSLR we might need quite expensive kit. This is an image captured on the Pentax MX-1 compact and it's this sort of camera I always carry, whether or not I'm on a mission to shoot images.

A great photo John. I always have my Canon IXUS 75 compact in the car with me - it takes some good close-up shots.
