It's interesting, but it doesn't excite me or make me want one. It could be fantastic for non-photographers though and they might well give us all a run for our money!

I've briefly seen this on the Web, looks impressive, but I can't see it replacing a 600mm F4 on a 7D MKII for serious nature shooting any time soon. :lol:

No, I agree, it's for the smartphone/traveller generation. The 'why do you want to carry lots of glass around with you' kind of answers its own question.
I like the ingenuity of it and I do think it solves a problem for travellers etc, but, no, not a replacement.
