Thu 4 Feb 2016 - John Riley "Infra Red"

Post by John »

On Thursday I will be looking at Infra Red photography.

The plan is as follows:

What IR is and its applications
What equipment is needed and how to approach it
Examples of colour IR images
Examples of black and white IR images
Examples of my own IR images
Demo of how to make pseudo-IR images using Photoshop

Hopefully see you on Thursday! :]
Best regards

John

Sorry John but going to miss this. Sounds very interesting. Afraid I have to do an airport run to collect a relative.

Thank-you John for a very informative and illustrated presentation tonight. I think I'll try producing "infra-red" photographs in Photoshop rather than buying a £12,000 camera though!

Great to see some experiments Gordon. It certainly has something of the distinctive look, but probably needs more IR light to give the foliage that white, ethereal look.

It's all trial and error.
