Forum Competition #192: Windows

I love architecture, and no building is complete without a window. I look forward to seeing creativity and your interpretations of 'windows'....and don't forget there doesn't necessarily have to be a pane of glass for it to be a window  Window1.jpg Hesketh Park conservatory (...up for sale if ...

Re: “Sharpness is a bourgeois concept.”

I'll win loads of competitions if blur is the norm  Anyway... I was watching a documentary about photographer Bob Gruen ( photographed various rock stars and was John Lennon's favoured photographer). I noticed that many of the images shown weren't particularly sharp. I think they were accepted ...

Re: Model attire (just out interest)

Good to know, thanks gents :)

Good job I don't do modelling for you Paul, more likely to find wellies and an anorak in my wardrobe than basques and high heels

When the more experienced among you work in the studio, do you decide on the model's clothing/costume (or lack of in the case of glamour ;-] ) or do they provide their own selection.

Understanding lenses

Just a question to help with my understanding of lenses. Reading an article in camera magazine about how to set up camera for a creative shot, it's based on using a standard 18-55mm lens.
