Many thanks for your entries folks - lets have a look...... Mel Barnes - You push your luck sometimes!! A well stocked bar - even down to the milk! #190 Taken to drink....
OK folks, let's give this a whirl! Any image that is connected to drink - that is drinks of any kind, water, milk alcohol coffee etc, abstract or otherwise. Just run free with this one - and if using something alcoholic or refreshing - have a sip! I hope 2 weeks from today is long enough for entries...

Re: #189:Kitchen close up's
LOL Graham! Entering the forum comp and having to comment/judge the images certainly does make you think about taking images. Not any easy task, and not welcomed by many! It certainly helped me get started. Will try and rack my brains for a 'popular' subject. Watch this space. Some great pics once a...

Re: Forum Competition #188: Its All In The Detail.
Well, a disappointing number of entries - obviously not a popular choice of subject! However, many thanks to those who did enter. John: A nice clear shot and I quite like the angle from which it has been taken. What a lucky lady to be presented with a supper like this! My only criticism is that the ...

Re: Manchester Art Gallery - Images by Shirley Baker
I saw this exhibition some years ago at the Lowry. Some fascinating images that gave a real insight into what was happening at the time. The image that starts of the YouTube video is one that I bought at the time. It reminds me very much of the street I lived in in Brussel Street in Salford and the ...

Forum Competition #188: Its All In The Detail.
I like taking quirky shots of details etc. We often see the big picture but overlook the smaller things in a scene. So a detail shot of anything within a scene that you like or that catches your eye. Details as opposed to macro please! Closing date will be Midnight 28th June.

Wow, thanks Paul. An interesting comp. I love to see what other folk are doing in wider terms. Some lovely images which are meaningful to the author. Now to try and think of another subject!!!

Re: Q1 RAW. Q2 Photoshop
Hi Jojo, great to see you advancing with your photography and software knowledge. The subject you have chosen to cut-out i.e. Cherry tree is not the easiest subject to start with, especially if it is on a busy background to start with. However never say never. Perhaps you could post a copy of the pi...

If a redwood's really red
And it's nothing to him, on the tiniest whim
To peck a few holes in your head"
