John, Do you softproof your images? It isn't something I have done as I send my images for printing to DSCL. The reason I don't print at home is that I find it very expensive (ink in particular). I am just wondering if softproofing would help to save money as well as improving the print quality firs...

This is a great day out, Ann and I already have our next visit planned for the New Year. If anyone wants to join us and share fuel costs please message either of us. There is space for 2-3 adults.

I am having loads more fun and getting out there and shooting since I met Ann (Watson) at ADAPS and we sat together en route to Beamish and discovered that we had lots to talk about as well as a shared interest. When I decided that I needed a new hobby and that it was going to be photography I started researching all of the makes on offer which took me at least a couple of months. By the time I ventured into Jessops in Bolton I was thinking Nikon or Canon but still had no real preference. I wasn't impressed...
