Well done Janice. I'm unsure about the sign, I think it helps with the title, as it's something static that all the movement has to interact with. It's the constant, if you like.
John, I love the light on the gears on the inside of the clock face.

Salford Music Festival 2015 - Completed Images
Hi, as a follow up to my talk a few weeks ago, and for the members who came and photographed Salford Music Festival with me, I have uploaded all images I have received to our flickr account. You can view it here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/100774116@N06/albums/72157659274580666 I would just like...

Re: Throw away your gear
No, I agree, it's for the smartphone/traveller generation. The 'why do you want to carry lots of glass around with you' kind of answers its own question.
I like the ingenuity of it and I do think it solves a problem for travellers etc, but, no, not a replacement.

I'm not a Nikon man, but if you're on a budget, you could do worse than the Yongnuo offerings.

Re: PRACTICAL NIGHT - PHOTOGRAPHING CONCERTS
Hi everybody, thank you for letting me back in your door on Thursday to talk to you about music photography. I really enjoyed it, and would actively encourage any member to step up and show off their range of photographs. I have a flickr account showing many of my photos here: https://www.flickr.com...

Re: Use of Film is Growing...
I shoot film as a hobby, or a piece of interest, something for just me. When I eventually develop the 30 or so rolls of film I'm collecting, from my honeymoon in the Maldives and Dubai, Amsterdam trip, Prague, Tallin, Manchester, London etc, I won't be doing anything with them. They're for me, perso...

Re: Cheap ink cartridges with quality ink....
Mel, as I think you're saying, you get what you pay for. I've usually had two printers on the go, one with compatible ink for documents and one with good ink, for photos etc. I ended up going the other way and found some ink that I was happy with that was a lot more expensive than the manufacturer's...

Mike, it was a photo of his daughter's birth. I did know that you didn't take the photo, as I read your original post, I was just comparing the two.
Re: Tethering
Ian, I used Lightroom in my studio, works really well.
