Re: Developing Kit

Shaun, can't help, I'm afraid, except to say that there is a member of the facebook group, Carl Skull, who develops with caffenol, in case you want to speak to someone, I'm sure he would be interested in telling you what he knows.

As I remember, he lives in Hindley or Leigh.

Re: FORGIVE ME PLEASE

Mike, there was a photographer called Brett Harkness who I asked to come to the club a few years back. It'd be worth you looking up his baby photo, which is along the same lines and shows the same kind of reportage look. Personally, I think it's a bit 'much', maybe a bit 'war torn' for the family al...

Photo and negative scanner £10

This might be a good little present for someone. It's a photo and negative scanner that you connect to your phone. I have no use for one, but for a tenner, might be well worth a stocking filler for someone, includes free delivery. http://www.mymemory.co.uk/PC-Accessories/iPhotojet/iPhotojet-Smartpho...

Re: Forum Update

It's definately changed on my Chrome browser, not the zoom, it's the layout of the first column, it's doubled in size, but the last column has shrunk in width meaning the text now wraps around to three lines. It's not the zoom, as that hasn't changed.

Re: Forum Update

It seams to have expanded it on mine, makes it less readable and is now horrible on a mobile for me, it's too big.

Re: Scanning old photos

Sue, I have a canon all in one printer/scanner that I did all my family photos on recently. I left everything at defaults (except changing it to detect photo size and save as jpeg rather than pdf) and scanned directly to an SD card in the scanner to speed everything up. It scanned at 300dpi and did ...

Re: First Studio Shoot

I think the whole image is too sharp. I think this throws the skin processing off slightly for me. I find the silver face slightly distracting. That said, as per the facebook page, I think it you are going to that length, you need to make the photo flawless (magazine style) ie, the mouth symetrical,...

Canon 7D mk 2 - Worst review I've ever read

http://www.extremetech.com/electronics/190135-canon-7d-mk-ii-a-best-in-class-dslr-that-still-misses-features-every-smartphone-has This is the worst review I've ever read. Canon have dared to omit stitched panoramas, which a phone can do, and no wifi, meaning if you really need to get that photo ont...
