Does anyone own or have used the Panasonic G1 that could give my any info. Reviews online are very favorable but would like advice from any users from ADAPS. I need to rational my equipment as its getting a bit silly which camera to leave behind. I can get an adaptor for the G1 so I can use my Leica...

The poor girl is short sighted as she is tyring to see what film she has loaded as that is where the clip is located to attach your film label. ah bless.

I carry a Olympus MUJ 35mm film compact which is full frame in digital terms so I can get the quality from a small pocket sized camera.

I have a changing back you can have, I have two. A web site to look at is FADU (film and darkroom user). Any questions you have just yell and the ADAPS film unit will come to the rescue.

I suggest you try Lightroom instead of photo-shop as lightroom is a more intuitive to use,plus you work on the raw files with sliders. Lightroom is a merger of camera raw and photo-shop and is uses a database system so it is quicker and has a user friendly interface. If you have not used Lightroom I...

john wells has died

I had the sad news that John Wells has died a few weeks ago. He was always full of fun and we had a lot of banter about digital vs film. He was a good photographer with some brilliant images. I will always remember his visit to ADAPS with has Johnny Wells roadshow. RIP John Wells.
