Don't worry about film it will be around for a very long time yet. All my raw photo files now show a small picture of the image with the image file number below when I open up my picturs in explorer. I can see what photos I am going to open or put in which order in my file system. If you open live photo gallery and attempt to open a raw file you get a box telling y...

All sorted. downloaded camera codec for photo gallery and has converted all the files in windows.

I can not view raw files

I have a new laptop[ with windows 7 and I can not view the photos like i could in windows xp. When I went into my pictures my photos are there but the files had a flower icon on the file. Having downloaded the softwere from Sony I now have the photo files with AWR followed by the image file number. ...

These are digital images processed in lightroom with the famous two click process. I wish I could print that good in my darkroom.

Cokin do a ND grad pack, it contains the filter holder and 3 ND grad filters all you have to buy is a threaded ring to suit the thread on your lens (buy second hand from Real camera in Manchester. Go for the P type as it will not cause vignetting.
London camera in Manchester has them.

I have had conversations with a few young students in photograph and graphic design and they have expressed interest in film photography, simply because it if different. They have grown up with the digital age and want to find something new that they can call their own. I take photographs for myself...

You may think the simplicity of a pinhole would be able to shoot any subject but I have found that you have to pick the right shot, Having put two films through and learned a bit, I think images with a foreground object with lots of space around to give the depth makes a better photo.
