Re: Nikon D5300 is dead after 10 months
It's under a year old, I'd suggest taking it back where you purchased it and claiming it under warranty. Do it now before it's too late.

Sorry, it's not a Mamiya 50mm, it's a Yashica f1.4 50mm with converter.

Hi 8 video player
Hi, I don't suppose anyone has a hi8 video camera I could borrow for a short while? I've found some old tapes a mate give me and thought I'd get round to looking through them. If there's any of worth on them, then I'll capture it to my laptop. The camcorder he gave me was broke and has long gone to ...

Canon EF 70-210 f/4 EF full frame lens for sale
My mate is selling a Canon EF 70-210 f/4 EF full frame lens. He knows nothing about photography, he's clearing out for someone. He's looking for a 'make me an offer', it'll work on full frame and cropped sensor Canon digital cameras as it is an EF lens. It is f4 right across the range and has a macr...

Re: Canon EOS-M
Ha, just did a web search for Canon EOS-M and this post came up. I've just bought a second hand one for £175, need to get the adapter to use my EF lenses on it though. Anyone else got one?
If I get on with it, I'll be selling my backup 350D and my Olympus E-Pen EPL-1, if anyone is interested....

Stu, I was just sat at the bar and he was staring at me. I'd never seen him until then either.

Re: Black and whites
Paul, hi, they weren't posted looking for feedback, just up there. Th spiderman is behind the bar in Night and Day Cafe, on top of a fridge, so, the other stuff is just there. The photo of the outside of the building was just because I was stood out there. My OCD doesn't like verticals, so it's alwa...

Re: A great day in the studio
Paul, his abs won't have been a patch on yours, I'm sure. Love hearing how enthusiastic people can be about studio photography. At the end of the day, it's just a couple of lights, someone to stand in front and someone with a camera, isn't it... Posing couples is hard, my favourite por...

Re: Black and White Going Strong
When I shoot gig photography, usiually in the lowest light (ISO3200, f2.8, 1/40 sec), I always have my camera set to black and white. I shoot in RAW only, but this means that the previews on the camera screen are always black and white. The RAW file is unaffected. I shoot this way, as the light is l...
