TV Viewing This Week
Hi All. I've just noticed that Thursday's episode of Great British Railway Journeys takes Michael Portillo to Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire, once home to William Henry Fox Talbot. This is my entry with a few blemishes of light from the feature being lit from the ground straight up to the cars ( over 100 feet up! ) The focal point is also right in the centre.
Still one of my favourites though!

Phil.

I get all of my stuff from eBay. I have a horse, so my pennies don't tend to stretch very far once I've paid for her each month!
Hi Donna.
You got a horse on eBay???

Phil.

Hi All. First of all, let me say as a newbie, I don't know enough yet about exposure, burn out or any other technical aspects. My view is purely aesthetic. It seems to me one of the great things about photography is that even viewing the work of others can bring back happy memories in one's own mind...

Hi All.
I took this photo at Haydock Park racecourse after one of their summer concerts, ( no prizes for guessing by whom! ) Anyway, the expression on the guy's face made me think of my own days in security when " patience " certainly was a virtue at times!

Hi all. I'd choose Pennie Smith's photo of Paul Simenon for The Clash " London Calling " album cover. One of the best rock photos ever, even though she hated the fact that in her opinion it was out of focus. There's surely hope for us all! Regards, Phil. (image added... PJ) http://mimg.ugo...
