I am sure we have all seen several pictures of night time traffic trails in our time, but i have never seen one that had a police car or ambulance going through the shot.
until now.....

I was just taking a shot of the 50s style shop fronts at robin park, with the low sunlight catching the metal faced buildings, when a police van decided to drive straight through my shot. :D

Nightclub shoot

Post by Paul Jones »

This was shot hand-held with a 1 second exposure in a nightclub.

Taylor was lit with a single studio flash-head to camera left and the longer exposure was to allow the lights in the background to come through.

Hi all,
Thanks for entering Long Exposures, Here are the results:

Ian; An imaganitive shot, fits the brief well but I'm less keen on her expresion.

Tracey; Good colours and reflections in the water, it's a really lovely shot.

Philip; A place we know well, for me it's just a little too light in the sky.

John; A different take on long exposure, a good sharp image of this Egyptian mummy.

Keith; A colourful and dramatic shot, possibly a little dark at the bottom of the photo.

Barry; A brilliant image, love the light and the dramatic colours lighting up the trees.

Pam; A very imaganitive image, a clever interpretation on the theme, love it!

Paul; Another good shot, well exposed, great colours and clever technique,

The winners are;
Third, Tracey
Second, Barry
First, Pam, congratulations and over to you.
Best wishes

Sue
