Hi everyboby,
Well the end of the steam train competition, sorry I'm late with the judging, I thought there may be another train arriving late.

So on with the hard part, the judging.

John " Days of Steam"
Again John thinking outside the box. Taken from a bridge I think, with the focus is on the driver. Good shot and well seen.

Tracey "Steam Train"
Yes It's a steam train. The position you took the picture from is too straight on. If you had moved to the left. you would have got more of the engine

Tom "On Time"
I like the pov you took the picture at. Plenty of Steam, and the driver checking the time. I think the process is a bit over the top. I would like to see this as a straight picture.

Pammie "Reflections of a bygone era"
Very good pammie, sort of shot I expect from John. Good pov and interesting reflection. The number gives it the train connection.

Ianuk "Not the Thomas Tank engine"
Well It looks like it to me. Good shot again, look like It's going up hill. Good movement in the pistons, and a happy driver.

Stelee "9F class coming into Pickering Station"
Now Steve a 9F class, one of my favourite engine's. What the heck is he talking about :-d Good sharp shot, taken at a good angle. If you get a chance to shoot this again stand in front of the fence.

Mancunian61" Days of Old"
Nice shot of the old rocket type engine. We dont see many pictures of our day out to Beamish. The sepia effect helps to date the picture.

bazzasmeg "5690 Leander"
Yes, a good shot. Looks a bit HDRish. Good pov, good colour. Could be from one of those steam train books.

I hate doing that judging

Anyway this is how Gerry see's it

1st bazzasmeg
2nd John
3rd Pammie

Over to you Mr Bazzasmeg and good luck :P

They are all awesome, but I did like the last one best =)

Well done Gerry and all that entered, really enjoyed viewing these.
If you get a chance to shoot this again stand in front of the fence.
Did make me giggle, he would have got squashed.
