Forum competition #136 NON STUDIO PORTRAITS
My thinking is that, like me, many members don't have the opportunity or desire to do studio portraiture so
I'm looking for people pictures which have been taken without studio lights. e.g. exterior pictures or shot by
window light or environmental shots which my just have need of a reflector or bounced flash.
This should give everyone the chance to have a go so please give it a try.
Let's say will close in three weeks 19th October.
Michael

Took this one at Hunton Steam Fair a couple of years ago, he was one of the stall holders selling vintage bits.

This is the nearest I could come to the brief, I tend to shy away at people pictures in case they complain, in this case he daren't. I took this one during our Somerset holiday last year, & it ends our Somerset Summer Stroll AV show about Bristol Docks. The statue is of Gromit (sorry Gromit) one of 100 that were on display around Bristol & later auctioned off for charity by Tim Wonnacot of Bargain Hunt fame. Similar to the Liverpool Supelambananas a few years ago.

I took this at the Saltaire Festival last year, and it was a very quick grab shot - that's why I didn't manage to get the complete feather in the shot before he strode past!

The first time I turned up at ADAPS our Paul introduced me to Terry.
On hearing last week's sad news I remembered he was kind enough to let me photograph him that night.
Regards,
Phil.
