Forum Competition #152 An Advert

Post by johnjm »

After due deliberation I've thought it best to change the subject, apologies to anybody who had a planned posting.
I'd like to see an image you'd use for an advert, with or without a caption, any subject, beans to Bentleys. Closing date to remain 23rd at midnight.

Looks like a new record has been set for the lowest number of entries ! :-O
I'll take a positive spin on it and say it makes my judging for the first time a little easier.

Janice :- I like the way you've used the brands familiarity which needs no clear name. A refreshing water drop shot.

John :- Love the concept, the pun sells the message. Unfortunately the reflection in the lens of the black camera spoils the shot for me.

Sue :- I remember the days of Esso's find the tiger ads, and the tiger in the tank catchphrase. I like the idea of an old 60's style ad, but the image looks a little to clear and modern to fulfill that status. Still a great image.

So no 1 2 3, simple winner, Janice.

Thanks to those who entered, Janice, over to you.

Many thanks for the competition John, it's a pity there were so few entries but, as you say, it made your debut easier!

Over to you Janice, let's see what devious challenge you can find for us!
Best regards

Sorry for the delay, but only just had time to check this!. Only 3 entries, but 3 good entries! Wish we could encourage more people to enter. Thanks for the winner accolade - now all I have to do is choose a subject! Brain slowly into gear watch this space.
