#190 Taken to drink....
OK folks, let's give this a whirl! Any image that is connected to drink - that is drinks of any kind, water, milk alcohol coffee etc, abstract or otherwise. Just run free with this one - and if using something alcoholic or refreshing - have a sip! I hope 2 weeks from today is long enough for entries as I may not be available for a couple of weeks or so. Closing date will be midnight 2nd of August.

Celebration - a melee of hard drinking at a stag night.

Re: #190 Taken to drink....
Many thanks for your entries folks - lets have a look......
Mel Barnes - You push your luck sometimes!! A well stocked bar - even down to the milk! I really must teach you to cut out and use the refine edge tool.
JoJo I love Alice in Wonderland themes. A good subject, however its just lacking something for me - perhaps a bit of colour or sharpness? It puts Mr Barnes's to shame!
John - Celebration This has intrigued me from first seeing it. A Vibrant image with a (for me) puzzling effect. Double exposure perhaps? Anyway I like it - it shows the stag party probably as it would look through the eyes of an inebriate. Will you tell us your technique?
Graham - One is never enough - Agreed!! Not too sure about the 'up the nose' effect, but a nice sharp image.
Phil Jones I like the subtle highlights on the bottle but would have liked to have seen the top of the bottle. It looks slightly unbalanced with a little too much room on the right. Nice choice of wine, hope you enjoyed it.
Gordon[/b] Milk I sincerely hope it's a milk cocktail! A nice clean, simple image, subtle background lighting and a very well defined glass - glass and white on white - not easy to do.
Some very interesting images - well done folks Here are my choices.
3rd JoJo
2nd John
1st Gordon
Over to you Gordon for the next challenge.

Well done Gordon, and also JoJo who is rapidly coming up on the inside and may soon be overtaking all of us!
Janice, the answer is multiple exposures all jumbled freely together in Photoshop. As you say, the event through the eyes of a participant, the chaos that the drunk probably sees quite clearly.

Re: #190 Taken to drink....
Thanks Janice,
Just milk I am afraid. It was a fun exercise. The glass is small and I set it up against a white sheet facing a patio window which doesn't get direct sunlight because of the conservatory. I then lit it using a very simple LED pocket torch.
Now for another subject....
