This is the Lady Tower at Gwyrch Castle, near Abergele in North Wales. The castle is being reborn, finally being purchased by the Gwyrch Castle Preservation Trust, whose long term aim is to restore the building to its former glory. The first small step was the Lady Tower, now restored and accessed through the protective metal door. In the foreground, the formal terrace garden has been cleared ready for its turn.

Not a rebirth but certainly a new beginning for us. Mollie Paige Aspinall - one day old.

Thanks for the great images (I wasn't expecting quite so many). Some interesting interpretations of the set theme.

Janice - I like the brightness of your image and love the detailed reflection in the water droplet.

Graham - I like how you have captured the detail in Mummy duck's feathers and that the rippling water has been kept in the frame.

Mel - I like the sharpness and simplicity of your image. The beginning of breakfast?

Sue - A very natural image of a happy couple starting their new life together. I like how you have left more space at the top to show the rice as it's raining down.

John - I like how you have framed the castle with the tree and it's shadow. I'd be interested to see the restoration as it progresses.

Mike - A lovely image of baby Mollie. I like how you have chosen her hands as a focal point.

Lesley - A beautiful image. Snowdrops always remind me of little light bulbs..lighting the way to spring.

Gordon - Your image really caught my eye possibly because of your interpretation of rebirth (and also I'm quite partial to a bit of sewing and creating new items from old clothes).

Neil - I like the thinking with your image, especially the contrast between the poppies and snowdrops.

Joan - You have also captured the detail in the feathers of Mum and the bright yellow of her babies, the brightness of a new beginning.

Decisions, decisions...

3rd Mike
2nd Lesley
1st Has to be Gordon :)
