Comp 265 best image of 2021

Post by stopher002 »

Afternoon Guys & Dolls
Seeing we are at the end of this year.
So your best image of 2021, colour or B&W, and the reason for this choice
I will start it off, I am finding at the moment that less is more, I do love my B&W PP & abstract point of views. Not something judges always understand
lets see what you have & why
Cheers
Chris

Will leave it open until 22.01.22
Good luck

This is not the best technically that I've taken this year, but it's the best as far as making me happy - it's our lovely granddaughter Molly.

This was taken on my phone, John turned the car round when I shouted STOP as the light looked great. On Ephotozine it received 60 votes and 6 user awards. :D

Inca Tern.

I'm not sure it's possible to select one best image from 2021, not evenb one favourite as there are so many that could qualify. So this is a picture I like and one that was well received on ePHOTOzine.
Best regards

As John said 1 photo is impossible, like desert Island Discs. This was a grab shot from last January and I think the person was taking a selfie at the start of some heavy snow,it made me smile;sometime that's enough.

It was just one of those perfect evenings. Even the judge liked this one.

Must start with a sorry for the lateness of the judging, been hectic in the Harrison house old. Early starts at 5am, no energy once at home.
Going to make this short & sweet.

3rd Sue
2nd Mike Aspinall
1st Lesley, I love the colour pallet & the calmness of the scene
