On Thursday 13th August 2015 ADAPS makes another field trip, to the Museum of Transport in Cheetham Hill.

This is a private visit, the museum opening for us at 7pm. There is even a small cafe on the premises that will be opened for us.

There are lots of classic vehicles, especially lots of buses. Climb up the stairs of a beautifully restored Salford City Transport green bus, check out the Lancashire United Transport double deckers.....shoot as many images as you like. Being a private visit we will have much more fredom to explore than we usually do.

Cost is a donation of £5 per person to the museum.

We're advised that the best place to park is just further down from the museum entrance (not in front of it) and walk the few yards to the museum.

The small cafe will be open, only for tea/coffee/biscuits but a drink may well be welcome. We can go on the buses and wherever we want, within reason. Just be careful not to fall over/under/off the top of anything!

This event was great fun last time we did it, several years ago now, so it should be a great night of photography.

I think we're probably good up to 9.30pm if needs be - as long as you want basically, within reason.

For those who do not want to visit the museum, Len Hudson will be opening the clubrooms. He will have his laptop with him, so there's the opportunity for some discussion on any aspect of photography.
