Thursday 2nd November – Brian Law “Fine tuning your photographs”

Brian is a photographer & judge from Macclesfield who has been taking photographs for many years.

This talk, which is in two parts, looks at a number of factors that that can help enhance your images and give them that edge over the competition. In the first half a number of subtle factors will be considered including; the control of the foreground to background relationship, the concept of coherence and the underlying compositional geometry.

The second half will focus on your picture title and show how this can really make or break an image.

The talk will be illustrated with lots of interesting examples, both positive and negative. Various approaches for the generation of picture titles will also be considered
