This is a trip out to Dam House at Astley. The top floor of the building is virtually untouched since Victorian times, so makes a great backdrop for a model shoot, as well as offering some very interesting architectural details.
This is strictly members only and space in the building is limited, so please be considerate and don't bring too much in the way of bulky lights or other kit. You may well need a tripod if shooting by available light. If there are too many photographers the top floor access may be a few at a time as some of the floors are quite weak.
Models will be Me, Sue, Neil and Joan in various Victorian/Edwardian and other garb, but also Charlotte, Phoebe and Chloe modelling a variety of clothing from Victorian to modern.
ADAPS always makes a donation to the Damhouse Trust and we ask for donation from members to go to the models. The amount of donation is at your discretion - just make it reasonable as we have three models who will share whatever is given.
Nominal start time is 7pm, but we will be getting there from 6.30pm onwards. Come straight to the building, don't wait in the car park.
