A new type of camera?

Post by canonsnap »

Reported in the JUNEAU EMPIRE the online newspaper of Alaska.
“There is a new concept of photography that has been developed by a little known American photographic laboratory. It was reported in an article in a small circulation of a photographic journal that is produced in Alaska three times a year. April, August and December.

'The most common concepts of photographing a subject are, RAW and JPG. This development, the report goes on to say, produces a photographic concept of Magenta and Lilac, where Magenta and Lilac produces Yellow. Then Lilac and Yellow in varying combinations, produces differing shades of brown. The Magenta and Yellow then produces Green. It is reported to produce a photograph close to a JPG. Of course the common concepts of primary colors are Red, Green and Blue. However, the article goes on to say that using the 'normal' concepts, the colors would be Red, Lilac and Yellow. So far, it has only been developed in the lower end of digital camera's such as, Aigo, AgfaPhoto, Casio, Panasonic, Epson, Vivikia, etc.'

It seems that photography has taken a new turn. It remains to be seen what that fraternity will make of RAW, JPG and RLY.”

Does anyone know if this is available in the UK?
