On behalf of a friend ;
My friend has a tamron 70-200. 2.8 aperture lens. The autonomous isn't working properly, when it reaches a certain point it sticks and she has to use it manually. It's definitely the rather than the camera that's the issue. Could it be heat that's affecting it? (we're at a football tournament).

Re: Tamron lens problem
If the lens has electronic contacts, wipe them gently with a dry soft cloth. Likewise with the contacts on the camera mount.
If the lens has no electronic contacts, then removing and remounting the lens might help.
Other than that, heat is not going to be the problem, but what is the problem needs the lens/camera to be looked at.
Hope that helps!
