Colour addition to old Black & white

Post by JOJO »

This year's special Christmas present was my Grandma's wedding album. I think it was put together by a family friend. I was wondering (as usual  ) was the colour added during or after processing?

I'd like to see the album, it looks really interesting. There was very little colour photography when this was shot, and it was also very expensive. More likely to be added colour, sometimes even done using coloured pencils or paints.

No definitive answer without seeing it I think. :]
Best regards

I'll bring it with me next time. It is lovely and the pictures are so natural unlike today's posed wedding images. šŸ˜Š
