AS Canon ditched the FD mount in favour of a new EOS mount their range of DSLRs has from the start a fully electronic, modern interface. There are therefore few hazards, but if any Canon users would like to add any notes then please do so.
One thought is that cameras like the 50MP EOS 5D SR leave us with immense image files, and this might stretch some older computers.
