Farewell to APS

With the news that Fujifilm are finally discontinuing production of APS (Advanced Photo System) film, yet another film format is detined for the scrap heap.

I think 35mm is safe for a while longer though, along with 120. However, for ever is a long time and the writing in the very long term is firmly upon the wall.

Don't worry about film it will be around for a very long time yet. I was wondering why digital photographers want film to disappear, but then it struck me, They know we are right and they really know they should be shooting film. Like a good wine that has been aged to perfection against a cheep plonk that promises all but fails to deliver.

I am currently looking for a really good Pentax film body. I have just had fixed a Super A but I would really prefer an MX, KM, ME Super or LX.

I intend to shoot some film.....
