I had a walk yesterday through trencherfield mill in Wigan yesterday and found these then i thought it must a tour of wurzel gummidge heads now got to find aunt sally she must be here somewhere

Hi they are are on the wall near the entrance and trencherfield mill which is about 5 mins walk to Wigan pier and also on Sundays and i think they run the steam engines about 11am and 1pm every sunday and as far as i konw its free to go in.

In my previous career I was one of the marketing managers at Wigan Council around the time they opened the 'Robert Opie Museum of Memories' at the Trencherfield Mill / Wigan Pier complex. See - http://www.robertopiecollection.com/app ... seum2i.asp

The heads moved around using an automated mechanism.

Here are two photos that I took of the heads and the Trencherfield Mill steam engine in 2002. My son Simon is at the bench.
