I didn't put any images in last night's critique so you have a go at this one.
It was originally going to be in the abstract competition but, like last night I got cold feet.

Re: A NEW MASK
Hmmm, I keep looking at this one, Mike...
I llike it. It has impact. Lovely detail.
I'm wondering if you could give the black and white treatment more punch though? Maybe a touch more contrast? Maybe not...
Thanks for posting!

Re: A NEW MASK
Hi Paul/John
Many thanks for your comments. At least you didn't rip it to shreds.
Have tried to give this one a bit more contrast and brightness Paul. Please let me know if it helps. The problem
is that what looks fine on my screen doesn't always look the same on the Forum and what with the projector always seeming
to make things a bit brighter I never know where to stop.
Cheers
Michael
It seems a bit too bright to me now.

Re: A NEW MASK
Hi Mike
Yes, I think it is a touch too bright now. Though I do like the extra contrast. Maybe use a subtle curve?

Re: A NEW MASK
I really like this Mike and echo Johns comment re the tight crop - perhaps just a little bit more of the eye top left for me - but very little. I like the eye tight in the corner as it lends that air of mystery. I actually prefer the first image, however I do like contrasty images and perhaps if the brightness was toned down......? But for me its a winner.
