Digital Night 15th January 2008

Post by John »

Tonight's programme will be:

Sharpening: Unsharp mask, sharpening using Lab Mode and "Sharpen-o-Matic", a complex but very effective technique from my fellow pentax User Moderator Mattmatic.

Theo will also discuss "Actions", which could well be the way to set up "Sharpen-o-Matic"!
Best regards

Following on from tonight's subject, if you go to http://www.pentaxuser.co.uk find the forum and do a search for sharpen-o-matic then the required thread will be at the bottom of the list.

The link for the Actions set for the technique is http://www.photon.me.uk/PS/mattmaticstools20051123.zip

The link for the ePHOTOzine article is http://www.ephotozine.com/techniques/vi ... ?recid=367

Due acknowledgement is made to Matthew Page ("Mattmatic") who developed the technique.

I'd also like to thanks Theo for his excellent presentation on Actions tonight. Cheers, Theo!
Best regards

Just a brief thank you to John & Theo for the presentation last night.(Tuesday 15th Jan.) I found it to be absolutely enthralling. Keep up the good work. Perhaps in the fullness of time we could have a back to basics night. For the computer semi literate. (me) Thanks again, Alan.

Well done John & Theo,

The photozine link of John's takes you indirectly to this site.
http://www.thelightsrightstudio.com/photoshop-tools.htm
There's a vast amount of useful photoshop actions there to be download with text or pdf files to explain them.
