Have my eyes been opened

Post by Peaton »

John Lyons talk last night sparked a lot of ideas on presentation. I went thro a ton of images I took a couple of years ago, in a series I called “ In the window”. I didn’t think much of them, at the time and had confined them to a memory stick, to keep them out of sight of the grandchildren.

I dug them out this morning and had a little play, this is just the first one I messed with, Just converted to B&W and altered the contrast, I’m quite chuffed with it myself, and quite surprised at what can be done with what I considered rubbish at the time. Has John changed the way I look at things ?

It looks like this series of images will be worth revisiting Peter. It's the right style and location, so please do post a few more and let's see how they look.
Best regards

Well done! I think it's a lovely picture too!

Although it's easy to say, I love teaching & really enjoyed last night. To see such a positive reaction like this to hearing my waffle is a great compliment...Thank YOU very much!

Now I've registered there's all sorts of things I'd like to feed into your group...but not tonight, I feel ready to fall asleep! Please advise me, where is a good place for me to do a "Hello and extra bits" posting??? I don't want to step on established toes by putting it in the wrong place.

Kind Regards

John Lyons

Hi John (camera clix)
Thank you for your kind words about my picture, I realy enjoyed last night and feel I had my eyes opened to a new way of looking at things.
Thanks again
Regards
Peter

Hi John, ( Riley) Here’s another one for you, and if I turn up next week with a black eye, for posting these, I’ll blame you. You’ve stayed at this location yourself. where you can have a drink on the balcony overlooking a very high waterfall, I won’t put the name in case the owner sees it and won’t let us misuse his premises again.

Regards

Peter

Ah, yes. Thanks for the second image, which I actually prefer to the first. I like the angle of her head better.
