Photographers' Question Time

Post by melbarnes »

On 7 August ADAPS is hosting a "Photographers' Question Time", whereby ADAPS members can submit questions relating to photography and processing to the ADAPS panel of experts.

You are requested to submit your questions in advance by email to John Riley, our Chairman, and he will read out each question (without referring to the author of the question); this will help the meeting to run smoothly. Alternatively, you may ask your questions on the night.

Note: the questions should be related to photography and subsequent processing only, and not to ADAPS club matters.

This meeting will enable you to understand all of those photography issues that you were never too clear about - providing you ask the questions! It should be an informative and interactive night.

This is now just a couple of days away, so I hope my fellow experts are feeling in good fettle!

We're looking forward to your questions and will do our best to provide good answers.... 8)

Many congratulations to the organisers of question night. From my point of view it was a huge success. Some of the answers I knew, some I didn't. A very successful night.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. A real learning curve. That's what the club is about.

It's a pity that the night ended on a sour note behind the scenes. See General Discussion.

Paul mentioned tonight dXo film that he is using for processing images to mono. There is a V4 that can be purchased, but V3 is available for free up to 15th August. Thanks Paul, looks as though it will be useful ...

On a positive note, I'm glad that "Photographers' Question Time" has been well received. Do members think that it would be worth running this meeting once every year?? We look forward to the BBQ tonight after just getting back from the Isle of Man.
