Wow thanks....a bit of a last minute decision to put that one in, wasn't sure how it would go down.
As I chose RED last time, my theme this time is NOT RED. Only joking!!
The theme is "Living Things" - so it can be plants or animals, birds, reptiles etc. I am not a lover of spiders though.......
Usual 2 week closing date, so entries in by midnight on Thursday 14th May 2008.
Get shooting!! Pammie x

I think I waffled on a bit last time....so I'll make it short and sweet.
I like the feeding sparrows, although for a competition I think if the main subject is the sparrows they are a bit small in the image, but I do like it overall.
The highland cow...like that one, peering from behind the tree.Nice light
A very inactive lion indeed, I think I would have liked to see more of a close up of his face, but being a zoo maybe this wasn't possible.
Earth Mother.... well something very different from John there. Imaginative, I like it.
Bee on blue flowers, very pleasing overall, like all the colours and how it fits together.
Dragonfly - very good study, you might argue the head isnt in focus, but I think the focus on the delicate wings is right. Limited depth of field (like the Bee) so you have to make a choice.
Meerkats - how cute are they!! Nice group, I think I would have liked to see a tighter crop/shot.
So I will pick
3. Highland cow
2. Earth Mother
1. Dragonfly
Well done to everyone for entering and taking part!!
