Hi, I have decided to have a subject that should be open to most people, , images entered can be seascapes, cityscapes or landscapes.
Because it is holiday time of year I will put a closing date of Sunday 18th August 2019 (so just over 2 weeks to get your images posted)
Good luck to everybody who enters

Thanks to everybody who entered the comp, I don’t think I am qualified to comment on technical details so I will just express my opinion
Mel – ‘Perch Rock lighthouse’, this is a regular subject that I photograph, so I know it well, this image has a good balance and the main subject is strong point of focus (was I being technical there)
John – ‘Normandy Beaches’, an interesting subject and another one that has a good balance (I may be referring to rule of thirds now) and one which has potential in different weather conditions and times of the year
Chris – ‘Bridal Vail Falls’ (I looked up the location online), the foliage on the left and right frame the waterfall well and the balance in the colours give a feel of mood to the place
Anne – ‘Ancient and modern’, a skyscape of Liverpool with two well-known buildings. I go on the train into Manchester to do street and cityscapes, this image tells me I should get over to Liverpool
Gordon – ‘Farne Islands from Bamburgh beach dunes’, I was in this place in January this year and would like to go back there soon, I find this image very tranquil and relaxing
OK – I have picked the winner, all the other images tie for second place
The winner – ‘Farne Islands from Bamburgh beach dunes’, over to you Gordon
