FORUM COMPETITION PAST IT'S 'SELL BY' DATE?

Hi there

As an ex member of the club but still entering the Forum comp. I would like to say that this month's entry was perhaps the lowest ever, certainly in
the number of 'views' being just 178. A year ago this would have been more like 1200.
Also the number of entries (just four) must be very frustrating for the setter. Not even the Forum stalwarts had any entries in.
Now the virus will account for some recent images if like me you have been housebound, but the subject was pretty easy to have some
pictures.
So I have to ask if it is time to call time on the competition?

Michael

P.S. You could always count on me to stir things up. Lol

No.

If people choose to enter, fine. If people choose not to enter, fine.

Either way, it isn't causing any harm to the forum.

Absolutely, we offer all sorts of things and they wax and wane, but those interested have the opportunity to take part if they wish.

Hi again

Looks as if my 'wake up call' and Big John's prompt has had an effect on this month's entries as so much better than last time.

As an incentive to enter, I once suggested that we have just one forum competition per month and have a prize for the winner, presented at the club - usual memory card or wine.

Maybe this is worth reconsidering once we get back to normalcy?

Andy.

Absolutely Andy, something we might well do when normailty resumes. One day!
