Competition #254 - interesting things

It is getting harder to think of a topic which will attract a good entry. I am surprised how many people are walking and many of us have been exploring our local paths. Yesterday I went a little bit further afield and met a friend who I have not seen for several months for a walk in the glorious spring sunshine. I saw the attached image which amused me. It gave me the idea that we could share the most interesting thing that we have seen on our walks during the various lockdowns and restrictions of the past year. It might be amusing, puzzling, unusual or beautiful or just something you hadn't noticed before. This remains primarily a photographic competition, but in the sprit of QI I will be giving credit for interesting things.
Closing date 3 weeks, midnight 25th April.

Blue Plaque on the wall of the White Lion Pub in Westhoughton, very near to the site of Luddite activities in the early 19th century. I used to think Westhoughton was an ordinary, nondescript little town until I discovered some of its history.

Interesting images, thank you.
John: It always surprises me how much clothing gets left behind in the countryside. Hat great, background a bit cluttered.
Mel; There must be a story here - burnt out Range Rover in an isolated layby??? What has it been used for??? I would certainly avoid getting my fingerprints on it!! Great detail and texture.
Graham; A very familiar place and a very well spotted image. I assume that the graffiti artist has a boat.
Sue S; Great sign - someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make a serious point in a nice way. Lovely sharp image with lots of texture.
Sue R: This is weird and could give me nightmares!!! Those garden tools would make great weapons in the hands of the wrong film maker!!! Seriously though, that is not a job for a grown up!!! Very impressive detail in the white fur, particularly as the face is in shadow.
Mike; I have cycled along there and been amused by that sign many times. Lovely grainy black and white treatment.
Lesley; A properly interesting local detail. A deceptively simple image but beautifully handled.
Eddie; Great car. There was a time when I would have loved one of those. Nice image.
Anne; I know this chap well but the foreshortening produced by your telephoto shot makes it look very sinister. If the white rabbit is around the corner we should run!!!
Darren; The white rabbit's pet bird!!!! The sort of shot which makes me look twice. May not do well in wildlife competitions - I find that judges like heads to be attached!
Thank you very much for a set of interesting images.
I need to pick a winner. On the basis of a very clean and simple image, which is well executed and interesting - Lesley. Well done
Honourable mentions for Anne and both Sue's.
Over to you, Lesley.
