Hello from Ireland. I'm LesleyD's cousin Seán in County Leitrim. The Forum Competitions have a super fun element, which I enjoy. My submission for the "Camera Movement" comp. shows how I feel after a piano practice!

Ghost, a combination of a very slow shutter speed and ICM. Starring Sue Boon as the ghost.

Thanks for the entries and I will now try to judge on a subject that is quite new and open to lots of interpretation,as are most photographs anyway!
Lesley.I like the mono effect and the overall feel of the photo but I'm not sure I would have recognised the subject without a title;does this matter??
Our friend Sean from across the water, welcome.A well composed shot [pun intended] and I can relate to your reasoning, even though I can't read a note.
Perhaps a little more contast would have lifted more.
Gordon.Blackpool in all it's guises would be a good place for this subject and your photo does not disappoint. The non vertical or horizontal lines add interest, the colours are bold and the ICM is an added bonus to an already busy and interesting shot
John.Wow,what a scary shot and a fab interpretaion of the subject. On first viewing I was not sure but the more I looked, the more I appreciated what
you'd done
Anne. All of a sudden this thin petal has taken on the form of a giant one created from thick wood. The yellow against the dark background works well with perhaps a touch too much highlight on some of the yellow.
Sue.This is a very atmospheric shot which I'm sure is because of the mono effect. The white trees give it an ethereal feeling against the dark background
and a ghostly shape would not be out of character in this shot. The ICM adds to the overall feeling and without it,well only you know.
Mel.No need for a tittle, even though you gave it one.Not an easy shot at night but this might help with ICM.The bold colours really stand out, especially
the purple and the leading lines you've created to the centre are very clever, almost 3D[you'll have to let me know on club night]
Winning is always great but judging is hard although rewarding and as the judges at our comps say,This is only me and my humble opinion.
The winner is Sue,well done

Thank you Graham I'm glad you liked it, they were all good images. I've had a good think about the next competition and having decided on a theme will now start the new thread. Thanks again.
