My thinking is of Macro photos, but feel free to re-interpret the title as you wish.
Good Luck everyone.

Right in close for this one, using the Voigtlander 110mm f/2.5 Macro APO-Lanthar on a Sony A7R III.

Must say I enjoyed all the pictures.
Hope the mouse (cute is right!) and fungi low-angle shots didn't result in soggy camera bases.
Thanks, John, for your mycological identification....and for the electronics pic - a fine literal interpretation of the topic title.
The wristwatch shot really shows machining patterns, with, for good measure, a VERY tiny reflection of the surrounding room.
Butterfly is just lovely, though I'd have preferred it a little more face-on. Not easy, I know, since they just refuse to pose for us. The alliteration of the photo title is pleasing on the ear.

Impossible to choose, but choose I must, so...
Andy Keen's wristwatch gets the choccy biccy.
Well done, Andy, and over to you for the next competition.

Cheers Sean and thank you for the nod against great competition. Will have a good think, try not to duplicate what's gone before and get it posted in the next couple of days.

Well done all, and well done especially to our new contributers who seem to have taken the day!
