Re: Saturday 21st Nov 2015 - L&CPU Knockout
Hi,
Just a quick correction, the rules state that it starts at 7.00 pm not 7.30.
Better to get there for the earlier time just in case.
Cheers,
Keith.
PS. Michael is also coming along with me.

Thank you Keith, time corrected.
My Mum is also coming with us this time, so now we have five of us. Who else?

How did we do?
Re: Saturday 21st Nov 2015 - L&CPU Knockout
Keith must still be hiding....
Frivolity aside, we came a creditable but not stellar 25th out of 41 clubs.
Female Banded Damoiselle by Andy Butler was out in the first round (1 point)
Number 34 by Stuart Ogden and Natasha by Dean Padley were out in the second round (2 points each)
Cloudburst at Castlefields by Keith Richardson was out in round three (3 points)
A total of 8 points.
The full results should be up on the L&CPU website soon, if not already.
Many thanks to Keith for keeping us in the running and to me, Sue, Joan (my Mum) Keith and Mike for going along to fly the ADAPS flag!

Hi,
Out of hiding .
Not our best result but it could always have been worse, I think.
The picture of Andy's was Dunnock, not female banded demoselle, ( sorry John I didn't update our scoresheet).
Ah well it means we should do better next year, I hope.
Cheers,
keith.

Re: Saturday 21st Nov 2015 - L&CPU Knockout
All the same it was a good evening. So many good pictures and well judged. I still maintain that the winning club Southport won by default and
that Crewe should have been made champions,
To explain:-
In the fifth round five clubs were scored at five points each but the judge chose one picture as the best on the night and that
was a Mother Cheetah and her cubs and was from a Crewe member. By my reckoning it therefore should have had six points and not five. In
the end both Crewe and Southport tied on 15 points and there was a tie breaker from each club which Southport won but morally it should have been Crewe. If that had happened to us I would have been very upset.
Many thanks Keith for the lift. I hate driving in the dark to places unknown so couldn't have been there without your help Big Man.
